Castleford Tigers v Hull KR

Castleford v Hull KR proved to be a cracking contest, with Jez Litten awarded 3 points for his match-winning drop goal on Thursday.

Castleford’s Cain Robb also produced an incredible effort in defence with 34 tackles and takes two Man of Steel points. His team-mate Rowan Milnes scoops up one point in a spirited Tigers performance.

Wigan Warriors v London Broncos

Youngster Jack Farrimond is a future star in the making and enjoyed a dream home debut for Wigan on Friday. With two tries and a 100% record from the tee, he collects maximum Man of Steel points this week.

It’s also a clean sweep for the Warriors, as Bevan French and Jake Wardle take two points and one point respectively.

Leeds Rhinos v Leigh Leopards

An emotional Brodie Croft was one of the many stars of the show on Friday night, as this fixture played tribute to the late Rob Burrow CBE.

It was a passionate and standout performance from the Rhinos number 6, who came up with two tries in an unforgettable victory, before deservedly earning Player of the Match as a result. He therefore he receives 3 points.

Behind him is his opposite number Matt Moylan with two points, and team-mate Lachlan Miller with one point.

Hull FC v Warrington Wolves

It’s 3 points for Matt Dufty this week after his match-winning try in the dying minutes of the game. George Williams joins him with 2 points, but the incredible efforts of Hull youngster Denive Balmforth cannot go unnoticed - as he contributed with one try, one try assist, 91 metres in just six carries and made 24 tackles.

Catalans Dragons v Huddersfield Giants

Captain Ben Garcia was crucial in Catalans’ Round 15 win, and therefore obtains 3 points. Both Luke Yates and Matt Ikuvalu produced strong performances for their respective sides too – they both ran for over 100 metres, while Yates also emerged as the Giants’ top tackler.

Highlights: Catalans hold off Giants comeback in a tale of two halves.

Salford Red Devils v St Helens

Salford completed their first league double over Saints since 1980 on Sunday, with Joe Mellor and Nene Macdonald instrumental to a Red Devils victory.

Mellor was a workhouse in both attack and defence with 28 tackles and a try assist. Nene Macdonald then most notably played his part in the match-winning score.

Curtis Sironen was also overall superb for Saints and picks up two points.
